to our cozy, Mosel-style winegrower’s house Felsennest. It offers you a charming retreat in a quiet location below the ruins of Grevenburg Castle in Traben-Trarbach.
The holiday home has a living area on the first floor with a comfortable (sleeping) couch and a flat-screen TV. There, a dining area with a table and chairs invites you to enjoy together. This floor also features a fully equipped kitchen, which includes a modern kitchenette with an electric stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, as well as dishes and cutlery. Your entire daily routine can take place on this floor. Attached to the kitchen, you will find the guest toilet. Additionally, from the kitchen, you can access the terrace at the vineyard cliff. This terrace, equipped with comfortable seating and dining facilities, invites you to relax together.
In the bedroom (2nd floor), you will find a double bed, as well as a dresser and wardrobe for storing your travel clothes. On the same floor, there is also another sleeping area with a single bed (90x200 cm), which is particularly suitable for an older child.
The bathroom is located on the ground floor. It is equipped with a shower, toilet, sink, mirror, and towels. There are parking options for cars on the street and in public spaces.
Our holiday home is not barrier-free, as the living space is spread over two floors.

Immediately after its start in Traben-Trarbach, the Moselsteig offers unusually appealing perspectives: the path leads up steep serpentines directly to the romantic ruins of Grevenburg, providing yet another view of the historic Art Nouveau town. After climbing a few more heights, hikers can again look forward to viewpoints and unforgettable views of the Mosel Valley.
In the evening, the charming Mosel promenade in Traben-Trarbach invites you to take relaxing walks and offers spectacular views of the Mosel Valley. Relax and watch the passing boats while enjoying delicious local specialties and exquisite wines in the numerous cafés and restaurants along the promenade.
