This modernly furnished chalet "Larix" has without the 28m2 covered terrace an additional living space of 90m2 and is located on the 2nd floor in the house. Nature-loving guests will find on the "Moos-Alp" above Bürchen a dreamlike alpine landscape with a fantastic view over the Rhone valley. Pets are welcome. The bathroom is bright and equipped with shower. The apartment equipment, consisting of TV (Internet), WLAN, radio & CD, also has a crib. The half-open kitchen has usual facilities, besides a coffee machine. 6 garden chairs plus garden table are also available, so you can enjoy the warm summer evenings. Facing south towards the Upper Valais Rhone Valley, the cozy village of Bürchen is located at about 1360 meters above sea level on a west-facing plateau. In the most magnificent and sunny location above the town of Visp. New (since 2017) solar panels are installed on the roof of the vacation home chalet Larix. A garage space is located within walking distance of the vacation home. The house itself can be reached via a footpath.
Summer
Nature-loving guests will find on the "Moos-Alp", above Bürchen, a dreamlike alpine landscape with a fantastic view over the Rhone valley and various Valais mountains. All surrounding villages are easily accessible by public transport, but also by car. Whether in the nearby "Turtmann Valley" or on the "Moos-Alp", hiking through the lush green forests, lush meadows and alps makes you forget your worries, because here, under the famous Valais sun, you will find an otherwise rare tranquility with a magnificent panorama. Recommendable tips are the marked 500km hiking trails or 70km mountain bike trails, Nordic walking trails, various theme trails or the ?Suonen?, the historic irrigation canals in the Valais.
Winter
The ski region ?Moos-Alp-Ginals? is breathtaking for winter sports. Here you can experience snowshoe tours, winter hikes through snow-covered birch and Swiss stone pine forests with a super panorama. Queuing and crowding at ski lifts and slopes is a foreign word here. The ski schools guarantee a quick learning success with the first attempts to let off steam on the white splendor. Events, the weekly program and excellent gastronomy round off the offer and leave nothing to be desired. The skiing area includes easy to moderately difficult tours, which can also be mastered without a mountain guide. The Augstbordhorn and the Dreizehntenhorn are just two examples.
