Holiday house with stunning ocean views. centrally located in Luz

This holiday home is centrally located in Luz (Lagos) and accommodates two to four people. Due to the hillside location, you can enjoy stunning views of the cliffs and the ocean from the balcony and the living/dining room.

From the balcony, you have a wonderful view over the sea. The balcony is furnished with a table with a sun shade, several chairs and a sun lounger. Clothes lines are installed on the patio and in the courtyard. Additionally, there is a clothes stand and a second sun lounger. The inner courtyard grants access to a small exterior bathroom with a shower, a sink and a toilet. Public parking is available in front of the house.

Past a palm tree in the front yard, a staircase leads to the top floor of the apartment. Here you will find a hallway, the kitchen, a large living/dining room and the balcony. The kitchen is furnished with a gas stove and oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, a toaster and a coffee maker, a kettle and a juicer. The cupboard is stocked with pots and pans, dishes, glassware and cutlery. The washing machine is located in the kitchen as well. A service hatch connects the kitchen to the dining room. The dining room is furnished with a wooden, glass topped table and four chairs. The living room us furnished with a sofa, two small tables and two comfortable armchairs. The digital satellite television receives English and German channels. The balcony can be accessed from the living/dining room. An interior staircase leads from the living/dining room to the ground floor. Here are the two bedrooms; one is furnished with a french double bed (1.60 m x 1.90 m) and the second one is furnished with two single beds (1 m x 2 m), which can be put together as needed. At the end of 2018 new beds were bought and equipped with premium mattresses. A travel cot is available upon request. The first bedroom grants access to a small courtyard. The second bedroom grants access to the patio. The bathroom boasts a shower tub, a bidet and a sink with a large mirror and a toilet. The living/dining room, both bedrooms and the bathroom have radiators. An oscillating fan is also available during the summer months.

Due to its central location, you can access the beach and the ocean, supermarkets and an organic supermarket within a 500 meter perimeter. The Baprista Supermarket is only 100 meters from the property and offers a large selection of Portuguese and International groceries. Public transport, several restaurants, cafes and bars are easily accessible on foot.

    “First the positives

    It is a lovely house,centrally located with good,easy access to Bergau and Lagos.

    Secondly the negatives

    We arrived to find there was no hot water.
    The house was extremely cold with no heating other than two electric heaters found in a wardrobe.
    There were no instructions for switching the Gas on for cooking.
    An additional cost was paid for towels and bed linen,niether of which were changed for the entire stay.
    There was text relating to a cleaner & groundsperson from a nearby village,niether were seen at the property although in week 3 a gardener was seen attending to the tree at the front of the property.
    The immediate neighbour (number 20) had undertaken some modernising to gheir property which meant that there was excessive noise for the entire time from loud banging, power tools,drills,saws etc this ofcourse meant that daytimes were not spent relaxing at the home it was hoped would provide such times.”

    “Great apartment and location. Close to beach, supermarket and restaurants. Nicely decorated with lovely balcony for eating out. Luz is a lovely quiet little town with generic access to fisherman's trail walks to Lagos and Salema. Highly recommend”
