Båstad is beautifully framed by Hallandsåsen and the sea. The Hallandsåsen rises steeply here and borders the town to the south. The 390 km long Kattegatt cycle route between Helsingborg and Gothenburg runs through the town. Experience the Båstad Chamber Music Festival in summer, which invites you to six days of chamber music concerts. The peninsula, Bjärehalvøen, is a popular hiking destination and is known for its rugged cliffs, fishing villages and fields. Explore Skåne's largest burial mound, Dagshög, and the dramatic red cliff coastline, Hovs Hallar. From Toreskov you can take the ferry to the beautiful island, Hallands Väderö.
