The splendid hiking area of Oetz and its surrounding area features the popular Piburger See lake and the unique Stuiben Falls. In Hochoetz there is the Widiversum for children and many other hiking options for all the family.

Area 47, Austria's largest outdoor adventure park, is only 12 km from our guesthouse.

Scenic Haus im Giessen is located in Habichen – a hamlet of Oetz. The base station of Acherkogel Mountain Gondola can be reached in a few minutes with the free skibus shuttle. The skibus stop is only a few meters from our guesthouse. The lift ticket for Hochoetz is also valid in the Kühtai ski area!

Even in winter there are many hiking options in Oetz and its surrounding area.

Our wooden guesthouse made of tree trunks offers space for up to 16 people and has a large lounge, a well-equipped kitchen and a covered terrace. Each of the six bedrooms features shower/WC and two of them also have a balcony. We have a heatcabin.
